Music as Tought (Substack)
Role: Author
Status: Active publication (started in September, 2025)
Music as Thought is my ongoing Substack, which replaces the earlier blog on this site as the main place where I publish essays and studies alongside my compositional and conducting work. It functions as a laboratory for ideas on form, interpretation, orchestral psychology and structural listening.
The project is the entry point to my wider writing: shorter-cycle texts appear here first, and some are later expanded into books, manuals or formal papers. Substack provides a direct, lightweight way to follow the current line of my thinking as it develops.

The Metaphysics of Contradiction
Role: Author
Status: Published on Amazon (01.01.2025) as soft-cover and Kindle.
A philosophical work that provides the conceptual framework for my later conducting and compositional practice. It develops a model of musical interpretation and form as the controlled collision of opposing forces rather than the resolution of tension into stability. The text functions as a theoretical backbone for my work with orchestral psychology, structural listening and the design of performance systems.

The Small Choir Conductor’s Field Manual: Practical Rehearsal Thinking for Real Choirs
Role: Author
Status: Published (2025) – Download Link on Gumroad
A compact field manual for musicians who find themselves in front of choirs without years of formal conducting training, especially church musicians, student leaders and small ensemble directors. It focuses on what actually happens in real rehearsals, from hearing the choir as an instrument and handling intonation, to score study, rehearsal planning, purposeful warmups, correction strategies, body language, and working with amateur and volunteer singers. The booklet includes practical checklists and templates so conductors can translate its ideas directly into calmer, clearer and more effective rehearsals.
